The International Listening Association is concerned with the training and practice of listening skills and, therefore, works closely with and for educators who teach or use listening skills in their classrooms. Listening skills are relevant in classrooms at all levels and for all age groups. The ILA education committee is dedicated to all issues related to teaching listening: Methods, teaching ideas and material, research on the impact of listening on teaching and learning. Here is what we offer specifically for educators: Teaching ideas from the ILA convention Swap Shops (see link under "Resources" on the list on the left of this page) An online journal on "Listening Education" for free access and with an open call for papers to anyone who wants to share their ideas.
