Introduction to the Empathy Process

In preparation for ILA’s 5th Annual International Day of Listening on September 17, 2020, join us for a 6-session program on Listening with Empathy.

At a time when there is a crucial need for empathic listening, we are challenged by our own stress and conflict to be able to listen with empathy.  This 6-session mini-course, led by ILA’s experts, will provide you with ways to be a more empathic listener.  You will learn what empathy is and is NOT, how to identify the speaker’s emotion, and how to listen and respond with empathy effectively.
